這一次再度回來球隊，古村表示自己相當期待，因為上次僅待了1個半月就走了，這一次將會打完3個月的比賽，希望自己能藉此變得更強，為日後繼續挑戰日職鋪路。
談到台灣的棒球水平，古村認為台灣打者相當厲害，自己直球的速度他們通常都能跟上、並掌握的很好，相當夠水準。另外投手方面，台灣投手在對決時通常不會想太多，這也是他認為自己能學習的地方，希望來此能增加經驗。
